At the heart of TheWorkerz is Thomas Venet, a French designer deeply inspired by his roots.

The son of a working-class family, he grew up surrounded by stories of hard work, resilience, and pride in effort. This upbringing shared his vision: a profound admiration for those who build the foundations of our society from the shadows. Arriving in Shanghai over a decade ago, Thomas was immediately struck by the raw power and symbolism of the city’s workers’ uniforms. These outfits, marked by their reflective bands, stood out to him as emblems of social contribution and courage.
